Lou Holtz came to the University of South Carolina Football Program in 1999 and had a very positive impact on the program during the five years he was there.
He hd a bigger impact on my wife who met him several times at The Univsersity Club where she had worked when we lived in Columbia. The legend is that Coach Holtz would tell Alicia that she had the prettiest smile he had ever seen, setting the bar really high for me going forward. Coach, I don’t disagree.
An autographed football marks the occasion and is a treasured momento.
