Playing In Traffic

I was driving back to the house just before noon today and came across this doe with two fawns crossing the road without looking both ways.  Luckily I was observing the posted speed limit, not driving distracted and was able to stop in time.

It’s that time of year and this isn’t  an unusual  sight in our area as folks keep building and  building and then build some more.  Ugh.
