A few weeks ago, and luckily in between the terror attacks, my wife and daughters spent a week in the UK.
They brought home a few souviniers for me, one of which is a tin of hand made, whisky fudge. Not from any generic whisky, but fudge made with Edradour, Highland Single Malt Scotch.
The Edradour Distillery is touted as the smallest, traditional distillery in Scotland.
I’m not a huge “sweets” fan, but the marriage of this fudge and scotch is one made in heaven.
Next, I will need to locate the availability of some of their “liquid” products here in SC. Shouldn’t be too difficult.
There are a few on-line stores that sell the “liquid”. But be ready to up your credit limit to get more than one bottle (750 ml for $68)…

Thanks for doing the research. Unfortunately, that’s a “middle” price for decent, Single Malt Scotch, which is why it is sipped in small amounts and savored.

Haven’t heard of that one. No.3 son and his wife had a holiday last year in which they hit seven Scottish distilleries in as many days, but not this one. They did bring me home a bottle of Cardhu. Mind you, it takes a lot to get me away from my Penderyn Welsh Whisky.

Hmmm, liquid gold from north of the border.
Dalwhinnie is very nice and quite smooth but I agree with Laphroaig. Nothing wrong there!
