Frustration & Friends

We still do not have internet/cable turned on at the new house.  Ten days, and over eight hours of telephone calls to Time Warner /Spectrum (mostly on hold listening to a message about how great their customer service is)  have not yet resolved their issues.  I am promised that we will have service this afternon, but I’ve heard that before.

On the brighter side, two guys who I quickly became friends with during our time in  Dowagiac, stopped by as we were moving and presented me with a going away gift.  It is a enlarged image of their patch and is laminated onto a base, suitable for mounting.  It soon will be found hanging in my office.

Thanks to DFD Lt. Robert “Smitty” Smith and DFD Lt. Robert Nelson for their thoughfulness and friendship. I’m going to miss being around them, but we will always be bound together in “The Brotherhood”.
