Wrapping It Up, Pt. 1

Friday evening, Alicia and I were invited  to spend a few hours and share dinner/drinks  with some of the  folks who had just become my “former co-workers.”  Included were spouses and even some  children.

It was heartwarming to know that some cared enough to drive a good distance to join us at our favorite Dowagiac  hang-out, The Wounded Minnow Saloon.

I have never been good at ” workplace good-byes” as I have not had much practice, but I am genuinely saddened that we will be leaving this area.

“Situations are temporary, but the memories of caring people are forever” . . .  Me.

Thanks, Y’all.   Alicia and I will always remember  your kindness.
