“Don’t be afraid of death, be afraid of the unlived life. Birth is not one act, it is a process.
The aim of life is to be fully born though its tragedy is that most of us die before we are thus born.
To live is to be born every minute. Death occurs when birth stops”
–Erich Fromm, lifted from the book, Soul Proprietorship, written by my friend and mentor, Al Killeen.
Thanks Ray for sharing this. A wonderful piece to pause and reflect on.💛

You are welcome. Pondering and reflection are two of my hobbies 😎
I love that. I always tell my kids to make sure they live while they are alive. Not just survive, but live. I would say I am not afraid of being dead (I know where I will be at that point)…. but how I get there is important.
Absolutely and I am glad you are reminding us to always live everyday! Great post! 🙂
