Trading Places was released in 1983 with a cast of fairly recognizable faces, including Dan Ackroyd, Eddie Murphy, Jamie Lee Curtis, Don Ameche and Ralph Bellamy.
Moderately policitically incorrect, it has some very dark moments, but in the end, good triumphs over evil. My guess is that the movie would never be released today due to some of the racial references. The good news is that the bad guys lose big and the good guys win it all.
Not exactly an intellectual film, it is still enjoyable and soon to be shown on a TV screen near me.
