Opening Paragraphs

image-3As the sun set at the end of a glorious day in  Michigan’s Great Southwest, I reviewed my bookshelves for something to read this evening.

This book  was purchased ten years ago (10/7/2006 to be exact)  at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation & Institute in California. I’ve read it a few times over the years as it is only thirty pages, including Amendments.

One more time won’t hurt.

It starts like this:

We the people of the Unted States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.  image
