It’s safe to say that this has been one of the most, if not the most, polarizing election cycles in my lifetime. I never cease to be amazed at how reasonably sane people can look at the same situation and see it so differently.
Over the last several months, I have intentionally stayed away from politics on the blog as I will not let those beliefs be the only definitition of who I am. I know of friendships and even marriages that have dissolved because of differing, political opinions. Heaven fobid, but I have also heard of people “un-friending” those with differing political views.
