C’mom Guys, Don’t Die Yet

Kansas, one of the bands of my youth is celebrating the 40th  anniversary of their album, Leftoverture.

I was going to tie in the fact that “Dust In The Wind” was our senior prom theme, but quickly remembered that was a different record.  There are more than  a few FB friends that were at the WHRHS 1978 Senior Prom. Who remembers?

Instead, I’ll mention that so many of the musicians from that era are starting to die.   As the Doobie Brothers would say, “Its a natural thing don’t you know?”.

This natural progression  of growing older makes us sad, provides coming attractions for our future and gives us something to talk and blog about.

Hang in there guys,  I’ll catch one of the shows, as long as I don’t have a doctors appointment that afternoon.
