As you go through life, opportunities are guarded by doors marked “push” or “pull”.
These doors require some effort on your part just to get in.
These doors are not automatic, they do not welcome you into a place of comfort and relaxation.
The effort to open the door is but the first step of the work you will need to do to take advantage of the “opportunity.”
To depend on others to hold the door open for you, often results in having it hit you in the face.
Work with others, but work harder and be a leader.
That’s “opportunity”
Adapted from Ethel Watts Mumford.
