Tonight, I will sit in front of a TV and watch a show that will provide a re-wind of my entire life. I will sit from start to end and nothing short of the death of a close family member will keep me from doing it.
Tonight, at 8pm (EST) I will sit with my daughter, Elissa and maybe my wife and daughter Kelliann and watch the 50th Anniversary of a Charlie Brown Christmas on ABC. Hot chocolate and cookies are on the menu.
I have never missed a year.
Here is a back story, Forty-eight years and counting
Don’t bother me tonight.
Enjoy the movie-really hope you read this tomorrow!

Personally, I was very disappointed. More commercials than content. The antithesis of the original theme on the commercialism of Christmas. Jelly felt the same, but we spent a fun evening, curled up with the dogs, drinking hot chocolate and eating Cracker Jack.

I was also disappointed by the abundance of commercials but I did enjoy the brief review of the special’s history. And on Sunday the radio program Studio 360 had a short piece about Charles Schulz’s life, how he suffered from depression and turned much of his life and feelings into the comics we still love.
