Earlier, I mentioned/thought that I would be spending most of the day reading since the band I play with was not going to be playing at an event that was rained out and re-schedled for next week.
So far, the rain has not lived up to what was forecasted for our county. The radar shows bands of heavy rain passing to our East on West. and 30 miles makes a big difference. So far, so good. That being said, news reports indicate parts of our State are washing away.
One of the guys in the band suggested we use the afternoon to practice, since we already had planned on being together.
Reading time cut short.
Time to start “Living Like Larry”
Our normal place to practice is the room above our garage, so that is where we gathered for a casual practice for next Saturday and beyond.
Daughter Elissa (aka Jelly) came up and snapped a few photos.
It has been said that you will be the same person in five years that you are today, except for the books you read and the people you associate with.
I associate with these guys. . . and read good books, too.
