Looks like it’s going to be a little humid in South Carolina this weekend.

Maybe as much as 5″-8″ inches of rain. . .  that’s humid.   dinsaurs-dont-read_small

I switched weekends off because the band was supposed to play at an outdoor festival on Saturday, but it has been postponed a week, which is good.  Electric guitars and rain are not good friends.

I suppose there isn’t much I can do out in the yard, aside from watching it flood.

What can I do when I’m used to always doing something?

Maybe read a book?  ……  Why not?

I received a book while attending a company, leadership meeting  in Orlando a week and a half ago.  Might as well break it open and get ‘er done. The author, Lee Cockerell was a speaker at our meetings and was one of the highlights.

This weekend, I will read Creating

About Ray V.

Living between Aiken & Charleston,, South Carolina, USA, I like to share what I am looking at, thinking about or listening to. I refer to this as the view out my window. Thanks for stopping by.

  1. If you could figure a way to redirect 2-3 inches of that rain out here to California, we’d be happy to take some of that flooding off your hands…

I met you at Danny Ray’s Meet and Greet. I liked what you wrote about the village approach to blogging. Sorry to hear about the downpour expected where you are. Nice to meet you.

  4. It’s a great weekend to read. New Jersey got a lot of rain too. But I suppose it could have been much worse!
