A Reminder

I have mentioned this before, but as I look back at the last few days and the many people I have encountered who are struggling, I thought it would be appropriate to mention again.

Back in 2003, I was makng some bad choices and it appeared  I was akin to  a runaway train.   th

A casual acquaintance who was observing the impending train wreck, wrote  me a letter containing this paragraph:

“If there is one thing I am learning as I age, it is that all of our experiences, good and bad, contribute in ways we never could have imagined to the value we ultimately bring to the world. So I have become more accepting of things that happen because I believe they will improve me in the long run”.    (Bill Steiner, November, ’03)

I have shared this with dozen’s of people and framed versions of this hang just about everywhere I spend time.

It’s a good reminder.

It’s a great reminder and I’m so glad you’re still on the rails.
