Ride’em Cowboy

The year was 1999.   th

We were living in the tiny house behind the funeral home we just bought in this Southern town.  I would drive the girls the half mile to school each morning.

I remember the car…. it was an Audi A4, 5-speed in forest green. It had a unique smell. I miss that car and would love to have it back for just one, sunny warm  day.

I could not find a photo of the three of them from 1999, but this would have been around 2000-2001…close enough.

The girls sang along with this CD  as we made the brief trip to the school yard.

None of them seem to remember this song, but  I do.

I love the memories….of the simple things.

Wouldn’t it be great to be able to go back and get a few “re-do’s” for some of  the mistakes we made?

This song, by The Good Rats  was  not on the vinyl album and was added to the cd as a bonus. It’s name was  switched with another song on the CD.  I can’t hear it without being in that car with my three girls.
