Multi-Pronged Success

As SVU is getting close to big  milestone  I wanted to acknowledge a another blog I enjoy.

What the world needs now is……more families like this, exhibiting  rugged individualism and  discipline.

th   I don’t get to Maine all that often.  As a matter of fact, in 55 years, I have only been there once…Father’s Day, 1992 when I was invited to speak at a funeral directors convention in Kennebunkport. (The date stands out in my mind for several reasons)

If I ever get invited back (my guess is it would have happened by now, but just in case), I’ll be sure to make a side trip to meet this family, and sit in with the house band for an evening practice….and maybe bring back another piece of furniture.

I’ve never met Unorganized Hancock, nor their parents,  but I have a piece of furniture from the wood shop and a nice, hand-written notecard from the boys, thanking me for a contibution to the “tip jar”.  Someday when they get really famous, I’ll be able to sell it on E-bay and retire…again.

The boys have discipline and it shows in their music.  If I had more discipline, I would probably be a much better player and have as many Youtube videos as they do.

All joking aside, check out the music and furniture at Sippican Cottage.

Nice of you to guide folks to another site. When you make it to Maine, you have another place to enjoy the scenery provided you come when we are there.
