Another Benefit of This “Blogging Thing”

Last week, I posted a  story entitled:  Struggle To Survive.

One of my fellow bloggers read the story and  left a comment about her time working with the company mentioned in the story.  Having read  that I would be driving through the area this week,  she rcomended a lunchtime favorite of her’s when she was in the area years ago called   Cali Burrito

caliburritoI looked them up via the intertunnel and decided that if nothing unforsen happened, I would give them a try.

As luck would have it, I drove Northeast today through the heart of this snowstorm, … as it moved Northeast…staying in the heaviest snow most of the day.  I arrived in Allentown a little before lunch time, but I was weary from driving alongside 18-wheelers throwing up waves of slush.

At 11:15, the parking lot was full….Burrito time!  Image

My choices were limited as it was a Friday in Lent, but it was not difficult settleing for a “Cortez”, shrimp burrito.  It was very good and the house chips were like they were puffed, not fried and had a great seasoning.

A satisfying meal for sure.

Just another example  of the benefits of  writing and reading blogs.

Thanks Kim.

Love that you had the opportunity to stop there! Just another benefit of blogging. They rarely have a “slow time,” but service is typically fast and the food is good. I thought of your safety going over the big hill in the snow.
