She said, “Can I….”

Well, not so much these days.

Thinking of my family and friends up North (and remembering why I decided to move South)

Big snow events  (or hurricanes) always remind me of “Ridin’ The Storm Out” by REO Speedwagon.  A catchy tune which usually concluded their shows.   I  blogged about it here, a few years ago.

From that same era, (the good ol’ days) came 157 Riverside Avenue, which was often the lead in to “Ridin”.

My guess is there is a pile of snow in front of this address today.

A great band arrousing  fond memories.  No video with the song, but sit back for seven and a half  minutes and remember.

From the 1977 You Get What You Play For, double LP.

Absolutely LOVE REO…have seen them several times. Even got to briefly entertain Kevin’s wife and kids in my v.i.p. box seats while they played. Very cool. Music from that time, by certain bands, to me is timeless. The songs never grow old.
