That Time Of The Year

Overnight, there was a  total of ten individuals sleeping at our house.

Normal complement these days is two, maybe three on a busy night.

Daughters home from college,  and cities far away….friends know they are always welcome.

Some family, some friends…all smiling.

Bowling, Chinese food, deck fires, smores, pizza and endless chatter.

Happy noise and it is not even Christmas Day yet.

Yes, my life is good.

The beginning of the night's festivities. If you could be used to make a SMORE, your life was in danger last night.

I have hesitated, for no articular reason from posting any Christmas music this season.  The drought stops here with my favorite incarnation of Jethro Tull playing a live version of  “We Five Kings”.
