Memories

Tonight, I opted to cook dinner and clean up afterward…usually Alicia and I split that, but I was in a groove. We listened to Dan Fogelberg’s, Captured Angel as I cooked (Baked Flounder with pear and ginger, sauteed peppers and tomatoes, with steamed snap peas on the side.) and consumed.

Clean up needs to be a little more upbeat, so I scrolled through the iPod and found this gem.

I was instantly reminded of driving back for my Junior year in in college in a 1977 Caprice with On Through The Night blaring on my Kenwood 8-track. A true classic for my generation and while Sir Harden posts Tchaikovsky today, I’m going for something a little rougher around the edges.

This was just a great record and here it is…..44 minutes and 18 seconds of guitar joy.
