2 4 2000

This is my 2,000th post.

Some better than others, but 2,000 nonetheless.

Posts that I thought would put me in contention for a Pulitzer have gone virtually unnoticed and posts that I put up just to put something up, still garner views and comments years after the fact. To me, it makes no sense at all.

SVU has (and continues) introduced me to some very ineresting people who in turn, have made me smarter….and more interesting (?)

While I am currently experiencing a case of “Blogger’s Block”, I will endeavor to re-claim my groove.

I was thinking about what song I might want to use and found this, recorded just two months before Hughie Thomasson’s death in 2007. Two of his most listened-to songs. Hughie was the co-founder and front-man for The Outlaws and then spent some time with Lynyrd Skynyrd, before returning to the band he started in.

May Hughie (and Billy Jones) RIP and may I continue to be able to share the view out of my window for another 2,000.

About Ray V.
