Saturday Blues

Saturday morning….0600

When he arrives, I'll be asking him to re-locate to Milwaukee.

When he arrives, I’ll be asking him to re-locate to Milwaukee.

50 degrees warmer than it was at this time just four days ago. Rain and thunderstorms through the day.

Daddy’s little girl heads back to Marquette Univ. after I just got used to her being back home. At least I get to be the one who drives her to the airport….and the one who gets to make one of her favorite breakfasts.

Upon depositing her at AGS, I’ll join the other two girls, (Kelliann, Elissa and her significant other/ boyfriend Cole) to go see “Lone Survivor”. It will be the first movie I have been to at a theatre in almost three years. I read the book by Marcus Luttrell right after it first came out and have been waiting for the movie ever since.

Things to do, people to see, daughters to send back to college and reports to finish for work. 377318731-334x499-1-190x243

Can’t I just go back to bed?

From an emotional standpoint, it would be a much safer place to be.

  1. I “feel” the emptiness here Ray. Bed is good option – movie, book, cookies.

I get it too Big. Sent Burt back today too. I can’t compose myself when I say goodbye. But such is life and love of your own.
