We’re Just The Players…

Arriving home this evening, I pulled up to our garage and with my window open, I was greeted with one of the most beautiful aromas I know…honeysuckle in the evening…it melts my stress away. This particular plant is big…spanning over twenty feet of scent generating beauty.

I have the prettiest smelling garbage can storage area in my neighborhood.

I read, not too long ago, that the concept of computers being able to generate scents to go along with what you are working on is not too far off…so, maybe one day, I’ll be able to blog about honeysuckle and you will be able to smell it.

Trying to come up with a title for this, I thought of a song by The Outlaws, from the Playin’ To Win record. It reminds me that we are just the players in this life and all the creations of God are the show. 220px-The_Outlaws_-_Playin'_To_Win

I remember buying this record when I was in College and then learning parts to almost all the songs on the guitar in one afternoon…. this was and still is my favorite off the record.

My sons have just discovered the joy of honeysuckle. I remember walking by a honeysuckle bush on my way to school and drinking the “honey.” My boys are now doing the same. Good times!
