A Funeral And A Snow Storm

Well,…maybe not a storm, but that is what TWC is calling it.

I decided to take the trip to NJ to go to “Uncle Ken’s” funeral, arriving yesterday afternoon, just in time for dinner with my parents.

I had mentioned my concern about writing the eulogy for my father to read, but when I sat down, The Holy Spirit put the words in my heart and fingers as I completed it in twenty minutes with only one edit review…..Now it is on dad’s shoulders….which is the main reason that I am here…to be there for him as he deals with this great loss.

The visitation is this afternoon and the funeral is tomorrow at 1pm….the TWC is calling for 4-8 inches of heavy, wet snow for tomorrow….that should make it a little more exciting, to say the least.

This will probably be my last post until I get home to Aiken on Wednesday.

Stay well…..
