One of my favorite shots…dad, at my office, standing in front of his “official police chief portrait” a few years ago.

I’ll be leaving for New Jersey, ice storm and all, shortly after hitting the “publish” button.

My father Len, is having surgery on Wednesday and I am taking a week off to be with him and my mom. Pretty serious stuff, it seems…but maybe the doctors are over reacting?

We can only hope…..and pray.

Posting may be sporadic for the week.

We shall see.
