It is four days before Christmas, we have three funeral services today, (this is the worst time of year for people to die…the week before Christmas) with temperatures in the 40’s and 30-40mph winds…with higher gusts. That by itself would be challenging, but add to it an ingrown toenail and the fact that I will be standing for the better part of ten hours today…tonight is going to hurt.
Our long day (and that of those we are serving) begins in less than an hour.
Our staff will deal with it all….seamlessly…that is what we do for the people who call on us. Because no matter how difficult it might be for us…it is almost always more difficult for those who know the person who is inside those caskets.
We never forget that.
Besides a warm, hearty breakfast, (which I will begin cooking as soon as this gets published) I need to start with something to make me smile and David came to the rescue…Baked in a buttery, flakey crust. (you need to watch it until the end to appreciate…hang in there with it)
Thanks, David. I needed that.
In-grown toe nail. Ouch. Better have this clip running on a loop. Have a good day Ray.

Hi Ray,
It sounds like this is very funny, according to the comments. I have tried many times to open the video, but it won’t open completely. If you still have it, we would appreciate it if you would re-send it to us.
Thank you and wishing you and your family a Very Merry Christmas!
Sandy & Michael Power
