Midsummers Daydream

Three for the price of one.

Not recommended for anyone over the age of 55 or below the age of 45…you probably will not appreciate this

One of the big, stadium acts of the 1980’s was the band Triumph. A power trio from Canada, they had a multitude of hits in the USA.(see discography/history on the website)

Rik Emmett was the front man and guitar player par excellence. Below is Rik in a quieter moment, playing a duet with Steve Morse, who replaced Ritchie Balckmore as the guitarist for Deep Purple. Rock and roll guys, playing pretty music.

If you were around in the 1980’s and listening to music, you surely know this song….From the early days of MTV…when it really was about the music.

“I don’t ask for much. The truth will do just fine”

And then, if you remember those days and want to feel very, very old….here is Rik performing LIOTL in 2011.
