Parking Lot General

A few days ago, while out early in the morning setting up parking cones in front of my church for a funeral, I took a picture and created a short blog post about it.

I called it Early Start

Dale Clock, a funeral director in Michigan, read that post and decided to tell his own story.

It is called Parking Lot General and it builds very nicely on my comment about the orchestration and behind the scenes work at a funeral home. Dale is a very good story teller and you can tell that he genuinely loves being a funeral director. I’ll go out on a limb here and suggest that Dale is a lot like me in that being a funeral director is not a job for us…it is what we are.
