Saturday Musings

Tonight, I have the privilege of going out to dinner with our middle daughter, Elissa (aka Jelly) who is home from USC for the weekend and since it is just her and I home this evening, why bother cooking?

Elissa...Making friends everywhere she goes

It will be a little strange since this will be (I think) the first time we have gone out somewhere since her twenty first birthday and I suppose she will have a glass of wine or two with dinner. Our girls are getting older, so that means I must be too…….

As I was driving home from work today, I thought of a song by Corey Smith and I think it was Elissa who introduced me to his music. As you can tell from the audience participation, this is one of his signature tunes and rumor has it that the University of Georgia is considering adopting it as the official school song….No, my bad, that’s Every Dawg Has It’s Day.

Life is good and I am blessed with a wonderful family.

About Ray V.

Living between Aiken & Nashville, TN, USA, I like to share what I am looking at, thinking about or listening to. I refer to this as the view out my window. Thanks for stopping by.
