Walk Backwards

I’m sure that I am not the only one who looks at something everyday, but never realizes it’s beauty. I have heard it said that every once in a while you should walk backwards through your daily environment to actually “see” the things you look at, but never notice.

This morning, as I was pulling into the funeral home parking lot, the archway caught my eye and after parking, I just stopped for awhile and admired it’s beauty. I came to realize that after owning the property for over twelve years, I have never learned of the origin/history of that archway, one of two on the grounds.

Well, it’s never too late to find out.
