Pick’n Up The Pieces

I remember it like it was yesterday. I was in 6th grade, Central School, Warren, NJ and Richard Hughes, (one of the cooler kids in 1970) brought in a record by a band named Poco.

I remember hearing this song and went out and bought the Album. I may have worn out 2-3 copies over the years, but thanks to Steve Jobs and iTunes, I have it forever.

This was one, great album

You can click here to read about the history of the band and the twenty different lineups It is a very interesting list of names and records.

Poco is the greatest. One of my favorites. Have you ever picked up Ghost Town or Inamorata? They weren’t big or rated well but I love them.
