Back in 1976, Larry Groce recorded this song without any major backing. He paid for the recording himself. Now, 36 years later, he is still playing it to crowds at the Mountain 
Stage.
I still have a copy of the self released, vinyl LP. I have had it transferred to CD and MP3 and often listen to the great, American music of that record.
