Because Its Fun

It was a great evening. Doug Blogged about it here…Eclecticity and Kurt blogged about it here….CulturalOffering. Steve is on vacation, so he may get around to it. Go check this place out….great people….great food and like most small businesses, they can use every dollar you leave behind.

Don't let the inner door scare you...They welcome guests too!

They even recognized my voice from calling the night before to ask about the restaurant. I had asked if there was a quiet section that a couple of guys can have dinner and talk for a while. Lindsay’s answer was. “Not if the juke box is playing, honey”….my kind of place…deal done.PS…more than a few Lynyrd Skynyrd songs that I hadn’t heard in many years.

We started with fried corn nuggets and fried pickles. Next were massive, hand made cheeseburgers and home made onion rings. Add a few Yuenglings, followed by soft drinks (we were being responsible) and it was a great meal and I am glad that none of us are cardiologists. If you shoot pool, this would be an excellent place to show off your skills….they take it seriously.

Can't miss this monster sign

Here is the address…If you are driving on Hwy 125, to or from the coast, Turn North on Main St. (Hwy 301) and it’s seven tenths of a mile on your left…look for the Lobster and tell AP and Lindsay that the bald guys sent you.

AP Lobster House 1681 Main St N, Allendale, SC 29810 (803) 584-5777

But Doug….can we come up with a better name than MABBA?
