Last Word on Fireworks

Last night, I got to play “Firefighter Ray” at the fireworks show at the Woodside Plantation Reserve Club. I think this was the 5th or 6th year I was on the team representing ADPS Fire Division at the event.

Those attending, retuning as the showers were ending

Well the rain interrupted the dinner, but the show went off as planned, albeit delayed a while.

Where it all starts

If you ever have the chance to witness a fireworks show from where they are launching the show, take advantage of the opportunity. It is an interesting way to “feel” the show in addition to seeing it.

I'm about 75 yards away....look at the size of the men, compared to the fireworks

Yes, it's a little unnerving to stand so close....which is why I moved back.
