We are coming close to Veterans Day, the one day out of the year we officially honor our veterans.
At our funeral homes, we have come up with numerous ways to honor our veterans every day. The latest and maybe most intriguing is the creation of the Honor Coach.
Borrowing (with permission of course) the idea from the McGuinness Funeral Home in my home state of New Jersey and combining the resources of six, South Carolina Funeral Homes, we are now proud shareholders of this beautiful vehicle.
The idea is to provide a special coach for veterans and emergency service members for their “last ride”, honoring their service. This is especially stunning at the burials that take place at Ft. Jackson National Cemetery, Columbia, SC .
The six funeral homes sharing the Honor Coach are:
Thompson Funeral Home, Lexington, SC
Thompson Funeral Home, West Columbia, SC
Greenlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home, Columbia, SC
Woodridge Funeral Home, West Columbia, SC
George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Aiken, SC
South Carolina Cremation & Burial Society, Graniteville, SC
The coach has been met with enthusiasm from those that have seen it and in the several weeks it has been in service, interest by our client families has been keen..
Another way that we say Thank You to those that have served our Country.

Neat! It looks great and is a good touch. I hope it is received with good press.
