Journey Into Enemy Territory

Jelly missed running with her sisters at the Color Me Rad 5k road race so she could drive from USC to Clemson to spend the day with her friend Kelsey who turns twenty one today.

Kelsey (L) and Jelly at the Clemson game Saturday afternoon.

Both have been gal pals since we moved to Aiken, taking a lesson from their moms, who are best friends, often described (by me) as siamese twins…joined at the cell phone, but I digress.

They have gone on trips together, played volleyball together…and against each other, hung out and spend holidays with each other’s families.

So, the moms, the girls and Kelsey’s dad and brothers are spending a night on the town in Greenville, SC after taking in the Clemson/VT game today.

At least Jelly had the common sense not to wear garnet/black today.

Happy Birthday, Kelsey.
